Harold J. Bliss, Jr., (known as “Hal” by his clients, friends and family) is a sole practitioner who has been practicing law in the Greater Phoenix area since 1967. Initially, Hal practiced with the oldest continuous law firm in Arizona, but in 1981 he left to join a former fellow-member of that firm in their own firm, West & Bliss, P.A. In 1991 he began his solo practice based in Scottsdale; his current office is in the Arcadia area of Phoenix.
Hal received his Bachelor of Arts degree (magna cum laude) from LaSalle College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He then earned his law degree at the University of Notre Dame Law School, where he was Articles Editor on the law review.
Over his forty- plus year legal career, he has practiced in many areas but he now concentrates his practice in the fields of estate planning (wills and trusts) and probates, business formations and transactional representation, copyright and trademark registration and protection, commercial and residential real estate.
